{"id":5480,"date":"2017-10-20T16:37:35","date_gmt":"2017-10-20T15:37:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oldcef.fundacaogda.pt\/training-and-development\/editions\/edicoes-fonograficas\/"},"modified":"2023-11-15T14:15:11","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T13:15:11","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oldcef.fundacaogda.pt\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"Catalogue of Audio Works by Featured Performers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The GDA and the GDA Foundation have been continuously supporting the publication of new phonographic works through the promotion of their competitions to support the Phonographic Publishing of Performers, support for the Young Musicians Award and other occasional support that consistently contributes to the dynamisation of the Portuguese musical universe.<\/span><\/p>\n<input type='hidden' bg_collapse_expand='69dfe0b9336043067430597' value='69dfe0b9336043067430597'><input type='hidden' id='bg-show-more-text-69dfe0b9336043067430597' value='Read more'><input type='hidden' id='bg-show-less-text-69dfe0b9336043067430597' value='Show Less'><div id='bg-showmore-hidden-69dfe0b9336043067430597' >\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The balance of the activity carried out, which has led to the creation of several hundred works by a very significant number of Portuguese artists and groups, has resulted in the creation of the Phonographic Publishing Catalogue project, a compilation of the phonographic editions supported by the GDA and the GDA Foundation. The aim of this process of research, information gathering and investigation associated with cataloguing works, listing and framing them, editorial work and their public dissemination is to provide a service, first and foremost, to the artists themselves, who are the ultimate foundation of the GDA Foundation&#8217;s mission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The aim is also to create an archive with historical significance and a working tool that can serve pedagogical, academic, analytical and research purposes for those looking into these matters.
